Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing the latest transfer rumour linking them with a move for Barcelona defender Emerson.
According to Diario de Sevilla (via TranSPURS), the North London club have made enquiries about signing the Brazilian this summer. The 21-year-old has spent the season on loan with Real Betis, averaging a solid 6.84 rating, having contributed three goals and five assists in 23 appearances in the Spanish top flight (per WhoScored).
The young right-back is currently valued at £16.2 million by Transfermarkt, although with Barcelona reportedly facing financial difficulty, perhaps Spurs could bring the Brazilian international in on a cut-price deal ahead of next season.

Although Serge Aurier has impressed at times this season, averaging a 7.18 rating for his performances in the Premier League, the Lilywhites arguably need to bring in some competition, especially with Kyle Walker-Peters looking likely to leave permanently.
