Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing academy player Dennis Cirkin after it was revealed that he could be playing first-team football next season.
According to Football Insider (via The Spurs Web), Jose Mourinho is set to promote the left-back to the first team next season and believes that the youngster can save the club from having to venture into the transfer market for someone in his position. The 18-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Lilywhites, however, he was named on the bench by Mourinho for the FA Cup replay against Middlesbrough earlier this season.
The young defender signed his first professional contract with the club back in November and it seems as if he could make the step up to first-team football next season.
Do you think Cirkin will feature much next season?

You love to see it

These Spurs fans seem delighted to hear that Cirkin could be set to get his opportunity with the first-team squad at the North London club.
What do we think?
With Danny Rose having seemingly played his last game for Spurs and Ben Davies having struggled to find his best form this season, the Lilywhites are arguably in need of a left-back, so it will be interesting to see how much Cirkin features next season.
