Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a report on what Jose Mourinho will have to spend in the next transfer window.
According to the Evening Standard, the Portuguese manager will be ‘reduced to free agents and swap deals’ in the next transfer window due to the current viral outbreak (per @Daily_Hotspur), which fans reacted to on Twitter.

Surprise surprise #Levy not allowing any transfers! Wonder if his £3m bonus gets slashed at the end of the season in these troublesome times?!
I for one am fed up with his repeated lack of investment whilst milking us season ticket holders! #COYS #THFC— Peter (@_petey_pan) May 4, 2020
Will probably be the same for most clubs tbh not just Spurs

Mourinho must regret taking this job

Will Jose Mourinho be able to adequately recruit with swap deals and free transfers? No, that won't be enoughYes, wouldn't be so bad |
The report also stated, though, that Mourinho ‘may be given funds’ for new transfers from any money raised by player sales.
However, after the report was shared to social media (via @Daily_Hotspur), supporters continued airing their reactions to the transfer news.

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from Spurs supporters, there is a mixture of reactions. Some are disappointed, others are understanding and the rest still believe good players can be brought in for free.
As stated by one supporter, though, there is some top talent from across Europe out of contract in the summer (per Transfermarkt) who could still be positive acquisitions for the club.
