Spurs fans have been reacting to some footage of Harry Redknapp being soaked by David Bentley and some other Spurs players in his post-match interview following the 1-0 win over Manchester City in 2010.
The 1-0 win over the Citizens secured Champions League football for next season and the Spurs squad clearly couldn’t hold in their delight, as they emerged from the dressing room to soak Redknapp during his post-match interview. To mark ten years since the occasion, The Spurs Web shared the footage on their Twitter page, after it was originally shared by Football Daily, which has attracted the attention of plenty of Lilywhites supporters.
During his time at the North London club, Redknapp would take charge of 199 games, winning 99, drawing 48, and losing 52 (per Transfermarkt).

@Redknapp did a fantastic job @SpursOfficial , from just above relegation to champions league qualifying. Amazing. Got the lads playing to their strengths enjoying football. Still some of the best football I’ve ever seen a spurs team play !!.

Redknapp really was fuming. He said in his book that he felt they crossed the line and showed him disrespect. A bit over the top from ‘Arry.

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the footage of Redknapp being soaked by his players.
What do we think?
It is good to see the Spurs fans paying tribute to Redknapp following the win, although you suspect that the English manager might have reacted differently had the cameras not been on.
