Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reports on reported transfer target Vedat Muriqi.
The Kosovan football president Agim Amedi discussed the Fenerbahce striker on Syri TV, as per Sport Witness, saying (via The Spurs Web): “Spurs are insisting on signing Muriqi but there are also other teams in Italy who are interested in him. Spurs were ready to pay whatever Fenerbahce wants, but, other Serie A clubs have entered the race, such as Napoli.”
So far this season, the Kosovan international has averaged an impressive 7.46 rating for his performances in the Turkish Super Lig; having contributed 13 goals in 25 appearances (per Whoscored).

Sounds like a good signing, anyone got a comp link?

I’d take him in a heartbeat. Tough as nails, calm head, links up well, not injury prone like Carroll, oh… and he scores goals.

Other Spurs fans are less keen on a move for the 26-year-old however, whilst some questioned that Spurs would be willing to pay ‘whatever Fenerbahce wants’.
If the price reported I’d rather get mitrovic fulham wants the same price

What do we think?
Muriqi has enjoyed an impressive season in Turkey but he is unproven in the Premier League so it could be a risky transfer for Spurs if he doesn’t adapt well.
