Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing Southampton duo Danny Ings and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg after it was suggested that both could be sold by the Saints this summer.
According to the Daily Star (via TranSPURS), Southampton are ‘leaking money’ due to the ongoing viral outbreak and may well be forced to sell Hojbjerg and Ings in the summer transfer window in order to raise funds. Both Hojbjerg and Ings (albeit in 2015), have been linked with a move to Spurs in the past and perhaps the North London club could be the ones to take advantage of Southampton’s reported financial woes.
So far this season, the former Liverpool striker has contributed an impressive 15 goals in 29 Premier League appearances (per WhoScored), so he could prove to be an effective back-up or partner to Harry Kane next season. Hojbjerg, meanwhile, has averaged a solid 6.82 rating across 28 appearances in the top-flight (per WhoScored).
Who would you rather sign this summer?
Danny Ings
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Both

Both would be great options for us, especially if we can get them for cheap

These Spurs fans would clearly love to see both Ings and Hojbjerg join the club this summer.
What do we think?
If Spurs can bring in both players on a cut-price deal this summer it could represent excellent business, as Ings has plenty of goal-scoring experience in the Premier League, whilst Hojbjerg could prove to be a replacement for the recently departed Victor Wanyama in defensive-midfield.
