Spurs fans on Twitter were delighted to hear that the club have been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to @JordanM_Choco on Twitter (via Daily Hotspur), Spurs are one of three sides who like the profile of the midfielder. So far this season, the 26-year-old has impressed in his performances in La Liga, averaging a 7.07 rating for his performances in the top-flight (per WhoScored).
The Ghanaian international is currently valued at £36 million by Transfermarkt, so it would certainly be an expensive transfer for the North London club should they be interested in making a move for him this summer.

Partey has been linked (via Di Marzio) with a move to Arsenal this summer but with Spurs having lost fellow defensive-midfielder Victor Wanyama in March, perhaps they are in need of a player such as Partey this summer.
