Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reports on Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly after it was suggested that the Lilywhites are among the most interested clubs in signing the defender.
According to Calcio Mercato (via The Spurs Web), the North London club remain interested in signing the former Genk defender, however, he is not currently interested in making the move to Jose Mourinho’s side. The report from Calcio Mercato suggests that although he is likely to leave Napoli this summer, he is interested in a top European club such as Liverpool, PSG or Real Madrid and thus, considering Spurs’ current predicament, he finds them a ‘less attractive’ proposition.
So far this season, the 28-year-old has averaged a solid 6.78 rating across his 15 appearances in Serie A. However, his performances in the Champions League have been much more impressive, with the defender averaging a superb 7.43 rating in the European competition (per WhoScored).
Are you surprised that Koulibaly reportedly isn't keen on joining Spurs?

I’m shocked at this, why would he not want less money, we have the best stadium and training facility in the world….

Honestly think he’d be a donkey in the Premier League… Good on FIFA though.

We don’t need people who aren’t interested or aren’t fully committed to the cause. If he ain’t 100% desperate to play for our club then forget him and move on. We don’t need mercenaries. We’ve been through that stage before!

These Spurs fans don’t seem surprised that Koulibaly is reportedly not keen on a move to the North London club this summer.
What do we think?
With Spurs potentially not being able to offer European football next season (with Mourinho’s side currently eighth in the Premier League), having players reject potential moves to them may be something that Spurs fans will have to get used to.
