Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing Heung-Min Son and his time with the North London club.
Spurs fan account The Fighting Cock shared the South Korean’s goal from the 5-0 win against Burnley from earlier in the season, asking fans whether they think the winger is Spurs’ best signing from the past 20 years. Spurs signed the 27-year-old from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and in nearly five years at the club, he has made 220 appearances, contributing 83 goals and 44 assists (per Transfermarkt).
So far this season, the former Hamburg man has been in impressive form in the Premier League; averaging a superb 7.28 rating for his performances in the top-flight. Although an injury in February had looked to potentially end his season, the current season suspension has meant that he should be back fit by the time the season resumes.

Best signing since Bale but to me he’s better than Bale for us , the quality of his goals are as good but also puts in more fight as well when things are tough , I’ve been supporting spurs for 40 years and he starts in my greatest 11 over that time ! Coys

I think he’s been an unreal signing. The impact he’s had, goals he’s scored etc. Some of the individual performances have truly taken us to next level, such as his display in the QF at the Etihad.

Obviously there’s others but consistently Son is head and shoulders above them all. I’m struggling to think of a better signing full stop?

These Spurs fans clearly seem to rate Son as one of the club’s best-ever signings.
What do we think?
Son’s record with Spurs is excellent and with him being just 27-years-old, he could improve his goal record in the next few years and perhaps cement his place as a Spurs’ best signing, although judging by these replies, most of these fans already regard the £57.6 million-rated man as one of the best.
