Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser after it was suggested that he is on the brink of agreeing terms with a new club.
The Scottish international is out of contract with the Cherries this summer and it has been now been suggested by Football Insider that he is close to signing for a new club, with Spurs thought to be one of the clubs interested in signing the midfielder. The 26-year-old has struggled to match his form from last season, averaging a disappointing 6.57 match rating across his 28 appearances in the top flight (per WhoScored).
However, considering the potential financial impact of the current viral outbreak, bringing in a 26-year-old with plenty of Premier League experience on a free transfer could prove to be an excellent piece of business by the Lilywhites – if it is indeed them who he is close to signing for.

I heard we’re getting him a few weeks ago. I wouldn’t even mind he’s free and he’s a work horse

All of these Spurs fans seem to agree that Fraser could be an excellent free transfer for the club this summer.
What do we think?
Spurs are arguably well-stocked with wingers already, with the likes of Heung-min Son, Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura, and Erik Lamela all available to play there, but there can’t be much harm in adding to their squad depth by bringing in Fraser this summer.
