Many Southampton fans have been talking about the latest tweet that midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg recently sent out.
The Saints midfielder tweeted an image of himself talking to teammate James Ward-Prowse. The Dane got fans to come up with what they were talking about – asking them for wrong answers only.
Many Southampton fans flocked to this tweet. A lot of them talked about the transfer speculation surrounding the midfielder, with the 24-year-old linked with a move to Tottenham in recent months.

These Southampton fans seem keen on talking about Hojbjerg’s current situation at the club. The midfielder recently gave an interview to Sport1 (via the Evening Standard), in which he said that he wants to play at a ‘higher level’ than where he currently is. He also talked about his ambitions to win the Premier League and Champions League at some point.
There has been speculation that Tottenham are interested in signing the Dane, with rumours suggesting that Hojbjerg has ‘knocked back’ Southampton’s attempts to hand him a new contract.
This shows that his future is far from secure and because of that, Saints fans are bound to be concerned. However, judging by their ‘incorrect’ comments, it seems plenty want the midfielder to stay at St. Mary’s.
