As many fans have said: he just needs that first goal

Will Adams be at Southampton next season?
Yes
Don't think so
Unpopular you mean popular we all want him to be amazing ??

Why would anyone think otherwise? Annoying when people are so negative… Always hope for the best. x He has quality… Just needs a bit of luck to kick start his PL career at saintsfc

Think he will be a good player for us. Like everyone just needs confidence. Any goal and he will be off

Agree. He’s performed well and showed us his quality in a few of the games he’s played in despite not scoring. He just needs to get that first goal and hopefully he’ll have the confidence to kick on

Like the positivity. I thought he was unplayable at Chelsea and arguably the best player on the pitch. Showed us what he’s capable of. I hope you’re right! ??

Adams arrived at Southampton this past summer from Championship side Birmingham City. As per BBC Sport, the Saints had tried to sign Adams in the winter of 2019 before eventually getting their man. However, since arriving at Southampton, Adams is yet to score a single goal for the senior side.
What do we think?
This is Adams’ first season in the Premier League and the fact that he has four assists to his name in all competitions shows that some signs have been promising, even though he hasn’t scored. Since the club shelled out a reported £15 million on Adams, they may need to give him time and there is a chance he improves in his second season at St. Mary’s.
