A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a tweet from Steve Wraith about the proposed takeover of the Toon.
He claims that Toon fans should just wait for an official announcement rather than believing anyone claiming that it will be done tomorrow or the day after that.
Wraith does not mention what he is referring to, but it could quite easily be these two tweets by Soccer Sauce and Indykaila News.
This post from Wraith has drawn the attention of these Toon fans.

The Indykaila account has been proven to be an unreliable source, and some even think that it is a parody account – so we recommend all Toon fans to ignore anything that this account claims.
The facts are that the deal for Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium to buy the Toon is still with the Premier League going through the required checks, and they are ‘very close’ to granting their approval, but apart from that, nothing else is known.
So, we agree with Wraith’s suggestion that Toon fans should just wait for an official announcement.
