Fans of Newcastle United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which mentions reports regarding Newcastle’s managing director, Lee Charnley.
According to reports in the Chronicle, Charnley is scheduled to sit in on a Premier League video meeting on Friday, with the aim of finalising details regarding how and when Premier League sides can begin training in preparation for the restart of the Premier League season.
In reaction to these reports, which were relayed by NUFC 360 on Twitter, fans of Newcastle have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many fans rushing to state that Charnley’s presence at the meeting of the Premier League in no way means that the club’s proposed takeover is not happening, while others have stated their worry that the news does indeed mean that the takeover has not gone through.
Do you think Newcastle's takeover will still go through?

I noticed some saying (the takeover will not happen) the new owner does not have a magic wand for immediate change .. The matter is not related to the takeover .. He is treated like any employee ..

What do we think?
Despite the apparent worry amongst Newcastle fans that Charnley’s presence at the Premier League meeting means that the takeover deal will not go through, the Chronicle report goes on to state that his attendance is a requirement from Premier League chiefs.
As such, it would appear that this news has no outcome on the potential takeover, meaning Newcastle fans will simply have to wait for an official announcement on the matter.
