A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a tweet from NUFC 360, which has relayed quotes made by Neil Custis in The Sun.
He claims that the proposed takeover of the Toon is still expected to go through, and it could be as early as this week.
This has drawn the attention of many Toon fans who appear bored of the constant takeover talk.
Does this update mean anything to you?
Yes, it is a positive update
No, it means nothing

What do we think?
The deal for Newcastle to be sold by Mike Ashley to Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium is currently with the Premier League going through checks.
A deposit has been paid to Ashley, and now the only two obstacles remaining are the Premier League’s checks and then the transfer of funds.
However, George Caulkin said last week that the Premier League would accept the deal ‘very soon’ so the fact there has been no official announcement yet seems to be boring many Newcastle fans.
Certainly, judging by some of these replies, many Toon supporters do not value this update from Custis and are now sick of takeover talk.
