A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from NUFC 360, which has relayed quotes made by Sky Sports about the Toon’s interest in Odion Ighalo.
Sky Sports claims that the Nigerian, currently on loan with Manchester United, is expected to return to China in time for the new Chinese Super League season that starts in July.
The report then claims that Newcastle would be interested in the former Watford striker if their proposed takeover is accepted.
This has drawn the attention of these Toon fans who do not want him at the club.
Would you want Ighalo to be signed if the takeover happens?
No, we could do better
Yes, good option to have

If that’s the type of player we want, I’d rather Rondon to be honest. Weird one from SSN.

What do we think?
Ighalo has scored four goals for the Red Devils in eight appearances in all competitions and, in his time at Watford, he managed 17 Premier League goals.
However, it appears that many Toon fans do not want the 30-year-old at their club.
Newcastle are in the middle of a proposed takeover, with the Premier League expected to give their decision on the deal this week.
Until that happens, though, we feel it is pointless speculating on potential transfers for the Toon.
