A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from Sky Sports Premier League, which includes a video of Kaveh Solhekol talking about Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Sky Sports man claims that Koulibaly is likely to leave Napoli, and they value him at about £80m. (0:01)
Solhekol claims that if the Toon’s proposed takeover goes through, then the new owners want Koulibaly, and apparently, the 28-year-old ‘could be interested in moving to St James’ Park.’ (0:08)
This is because he believes that ‘Newcastle could become one of the biggest clubs in the world.’ (0:28)
This tweet has drawn the attention of these Toon fans who are excited about the prospective signing of Koulibaly but want the takeover to be completed first.

What do we think?
Sky Sports revealed in an article that the Toon were interested in the Napoli defender, and this message from Solhekol backs that up.
However, with the deal for Mike Ashley to sell Newcastle to Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium now with the Premier League, we don’t think it is the right time to be speculating about players until the takeover is officially announced.
