A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from NUFC 360, which has included a link to Duncan Castles’ tweet.
Included in the Daily Record reporter’s tweet is a link to the latest episode of The Transfer Window podcast in which he claims that PIF are expecting the proposed takeover of the Toon to be granted Premier League approval next week. (11:15)
Castles also believes that the prospective owners are hoping that FFP regulations will be relaxed due to this current viral pandemic. (12:10)
This update from Castles has received a mixed reaction from these Toon fans with some happy with the update.
Do you think this is a positive update from Castles?

However, there are a few Newcastle supporters who are not sure about this update.

What do we think?
While Castles’ tweet suggests the proposed takeover could be set to hit some sort of snag, what he actually says on the podcast is quite positive, and if what he says is true, then at some point next week, there could be an official announcement on the takeover. (11:15)
