A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to comment on a post from their club after the Toon confirmed that they would be returning to training as the Premier League prepares to restart.
The post said that the Toon’s players would be returning in small groups, but many Newcastle fans are not bothered by this.

What do we think?
Newcastle’s proposed takeover by Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium is currently with the Premier League going through the required checks.
Paul Smith believes that the Premier League are ‘very close‘ to granting the deal approval.
So, it is understandable that many Toon fans are waiting for that official announcement.
However, we think that it is good that Newcastle’s players have returned to the training ground, and we hope that we won’t have to wait too much longer for the Premier League’s resumption.
