A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from The Chronicle that includes a link to their live blog from 26th May.
From here, they have a story originally published in The Guardian about the World Trade Organisation ruling that Saudi Arabia is behind a pirate TV service.
The report produced by the WTO will not be published until June, but it has been handed to the Premier League, and it supposedly puts ‘serious doubt’ over the Toon’s proposed takeover.
The report claims that the Saudi government knew about pirate broadcaster BeoutQ, and this new evidence has worried these Toon fans who feel that the takeover will now be blocked.
Are you worried by this?
Yes, it doesn't look good
No, still remain confident

Really beginning to give up on the #nufctakeover don’t think it’s gonna happen #nufc don’t mean to be negative, it just seems never ending and complete waste of time.

Thats it then its over, you can stop reporting now and we can all go back to sleep safe in the knowledge Mike ‘Slim’ Ashley is still in charge

What do we think?
Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed takeover of the Toon is still with the Premier League going through the required checks after a deposit was paid to Mike Ashley.
A report in The Sun claimed that the deal was ready to be announced on the 1st of June, but this new evidence of piracy is expected to delay the Premier League’s decision for at least another week, as per the Daily Mail.
It will be interesting to see what happens over the coming days and weeks.
