A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from NUFC 360, which has included a link to a story from Defensa Central about Zinedine Zidane.
It claims that the Toon are prepared to double the current Real Madrid manager’s salary in an attempt to convince him to come to Tyneside.
The report also states that he is aware of the Toon’s interest should their proposed takeover go through.
However, it is fair to say that many Newcastle fans do not believe this latest rumour.

This latest report now adds him onto a list that includes the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri for potential Steve Bruce replacements.
