A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from The Magpie Channel which contains an image of Shaka Hislop playing for Newcastle.
However, it is the kit that has attracted the most attention rather than Hislop himself, though he has received some love in the comments.
The kit has the Newcastle Brown Ale logo in the middle of it with the Toon’s badge above and Adidas across the collar – along with a picture of the Tyne Bridge.
It is fair to say that this kit is still popular with many Toon fans. Comments from the St. James’ Park faithful are below.
Is this Newcastle's best goalkeeper kit?
Yes, it is class
No, I like it but others were better
What a kit? #NUFC pic.twitter.com/9oRk334CgC

What do we think?
This is a classic strip from the mid-90s, and the addition of the bridge and the changing colours we think are nice additions.
It is clear from the replies that many Newcastle fans love this kit and would like to see it back at some point.
