Newcastle United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest comments made by former Premier League manager Tim Sherwood.
This comes after TalkSPORT shared a post on their page relaying comments made by Sherwood on their Breakfast Show programme (via talksport.com).
Sherwood claimed that Newcastle fans would only want Rafael Benitez or Mauricio Pochettino to replace Steve Bruce because it’s “sexy” and “fashionable” to have a foreign manager.
These remarks didn’t go down too well with these Newcastle fans who were not shy in letting their feelings on the situation known.

Reeks of Tim’s own inferiority complex which is always evident during his punditry stints

Will Steve Bruce be Newcastle's manager next season?
Yes
No
Bruce has guided the Magpies to 13th place in the Premier League table, having won nine, drawn eight and lost 12 matches in his debut season in charge at Newcastle. Now that it has been suggested by Sherwood that Newcastle fans would want Benitez or Pochettino to replace Bruce because they are foreign, this sparked a big reaction from Newcastle fans on Twitter.
No wonder he no longer has a job

What do we think?
It appears that these Newcastle fans don’t think Sherwood has hit the nail on the head regarding his comments on Bruce and any potential replacement for him.
