In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by Man City Xtra on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many stating their belief that football without fans being present at matches is nothing.

According to the report, the first matches following the three-month postponement of the Premier League will be Aston Villa at home to Sheffield United, as well as Manchester City hosting Arsenal.

The news has left many City fans questioning why the league has returned so quickly, with some suggesting that money has been an important factor in the decision to resume the season.

However, not all Manchester City fans have taken the news badly, with some even seeming quite enthusiastic at the thought of Premier League football returning.

With Manchester City currently 25 points behind league leaders Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s side having just 10 games of the Premier League season remaining, it would appear to be very unlikely that City will be in with a shot of winning the title again this season.

However, while the majority of these City fans would appear to not want the season to kick off again, some City fans do seem pleased by the news.
