Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claim Leroy Sane has agreed on a contract with Bayern Munich.
According to reports in Sport Bild (via Bavarian Football Works), Bayern have made an opening bid of €40 million (£34.9m) for the winger, after the German giants came to an agreement over a five-year contract with the 24-year-old.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by Man City Xtra on Twitter, fans of City have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many stating their belief that the club should not let Sane go for anywhere close to Bayern’s reported ideal limit of €60 million (£52.4m), while others have targeted Sane, stating that they are disgusted by the player’s actions.
Would you sell Leroy Sane this summer?
Yes
No
Bayern Munich & Leroy Sané have reached an agreement over a five-year contract.
Bayern have deposited €40m as a basis for negotiations with Manchester City. Internally, it would be seen as big success if the club can push the price down to under €60m.

Funny how Bayern been talking the market down. If we let him go for anything less than £80m we need our heads examining

Pretty good that. Same is under contract at City and the transfer window is not open. I hope UEFA will be looking into this. Maybe not?

What do we think?
Although Sane has not featured for City’s first team since picking up an ACL injury in the club’s Community Shield victory against Liverpool last August, his loss would still arguably be a big blow to Pep Guardiola’s side.
In the 2018/19 season, Sane was in remarkable form, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists over 31 Premier League appearances, in addition to a further four goals and four assists in eight Champions League appearances.
As such, it is unsurprising to see that many City fans would not like to see the winger, who is valued at £72 million, leave the club for less than he is worth.
