Torres has been in fine form for Valencia so far this season, scoring four goals and providing four assists over his 25 La Liga appearances, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.85.

In addition to this, the 20-year-old has also performed impressively in the Champions League, scoring two goals and providing two assists in his six fixtures, averaging a remarkable match rating of 7.47.

As such, it is slightly surprising to see that some of these City fans would rather their club didn’t make an attempt to sign the young winger – though are some supporters who would seemingly welcome him to the Etihad Stadium.
