Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne shares a photograph.
In his tweet, the 28-year-old shared an image of himself back in Manchester City training following the unexpected break from the football season, with the comment: “Happy to be back doing what we love.”
In reaction to his post, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with some claiming that the midfielder is the best in the world, while others have called for De Bruyne to sign a lifetime contract with City.

Since arriving at City from VfL Wolfsburg for a fee of £68.40 million back in 2015, De Bruyne has gone on to make 209 appearances for the club, scoring 50 goals and providing 85 assists.
So far this season, the 28-year-old has scored eight goals and has provided 16 assists in the Premier League, averaging a remarkable WhoScored match rating of 7.92, enough to rank him as the league’s best performer.

As is evident from their comments, De Bruyne is a player that is very much loved by the Manchester City fanbase, with many delighted to see the midfielder back in training with the club.
They will not have too long to wait to see him on the pitch with City, either, as recent reports by The Telegraph have claimed that City will be returning to Premier League action on June 17, when they will face Arsenal.
