Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter discussing Leroy Sane.
The tweet, which was posted by @bernardooooV3 on Twitter, comes following the news that Sane has reportedly agreed a five-year deal with Bayern Munich, and stated:
“I can’t believe some City fans are disrespecting this guy because he’s leaving. Yes, it could have been handled better. Yes, he was, at times, unprofessional. But he’s done so much for this club, I truly believe he loved his time here.”
In reaction to the post, fans of Manchester City have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many agreeing with the sentiment in the tweet, while others, in stark comparison, have labelled the 24-year-old a snake.
Would you sell Leroy Sane this summer?
Yes
No
I can’t believe some City fans are disrespecting this guy because he’s leaving. Yes, it could have been handled better. Yes, he was, at times, unprofessional. But he’s done so much for this club, I truely believe he loved his time here.
Thank you for all the memories, Leroy. pic.twitter.com/RUxQdiQVyx

How can he be discussing transfer when he is under contract at City??
If he don’t take care, he will regret some decisions

No-one of the players is bigger than the club. If they want to leave, when we need them most, they don’t deserve to be with us when we win. There was City before Sane , Bernardo or Sterling.

What do we think?
Sane has indeed done a lot for City since arriving from Schalke back in 2016, scoring 39 goals and providing 45 assists in 134 appearances for the club, helping City to win two Premier League titles, two League Cups, one FA Cup and two Community Shields.
As such, it is surprising to see how some of the City fans are begrudging the player over a potential move away from the club, especially as City are facing a two-year ban from European football.
