Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer update surrounding RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their page relaying news originally posted by football journalist Nicolo Schira.
Schira tweeted that Liverpool are in advanced contract talks with Werner and they have offered him a 5-year contract. Schira also added that Werner is Klopp’s first-choice target and that Liverpool are working on reaching an agreement with Leipzig over the deal.

These responses from the Liverpool fans just proves how excited they are by the idea of Werner joining the Merseyside club this summer. Given the number of goals Werner has scored this season, this excitement from the Liverpool fans is understandable.
