Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer news surrounding Olympique Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in a report by Corriere Dello Sport via Sport Witness.
The report claimed that Liverpool and Real Madrid are the “main antagonists” in scuppering Juventus’ chances of signing the Frenchman this summer as they would be able to pay Aouar’s €50m (£45m) price tag up front.
