Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest reported news surrounding Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their page relaying comments originally from RB Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch to the Blood Red podcast (via Liverpool Echo).
Marsch insisted that Haaland would be an “incredible fit” for the Merseyside club due to the Norweigan’s style of play.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their thoughts on the matter.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

Very overrated, he’s just on a golden spell and will crash and burn soon

Would rather just get Werner to be honest

Is it only me?? Can’t see him in our system at all, he’s too static….he’s a young lad so he can learn im sure but Sturridge pressed harder than him

Would Haaland be a good fit at Liverpool?
Yes
No
The 19-year-old, who is currently valued at £64.8 million according to Transfermarkt, joined Dortmund from Salzburg back in January. Since then Haaland has gone on to score 13 goals and provide three assists in 14 appearances for Dortmund (per Transfermarkt). Now that Marsch has come out and revealed his thoughts on the striker and how he would fit at Liverpool, this sparked a big reaction on Twitter.
Why would we want him now? Isn’t Sancho, werner and Havertz enough for next season

What do we think?
It appears that these Liverpool fans are not crazy about Haaland or agree with Marsch’s opinions that he would be a good fit at the Merseyside club.
