Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest post from Reds goalkeeper Adrian.
This comes after the Spaniard shared a post on his official Twitter page quote-tweeting a post shared by the official Liverpool Twitter account that contained video footage of the Reds’ 2005 Champions League final victory over AC Milan.
Adrian captioned his quoted tweet with the phrase “mentality monsters…since ever” in all capitals, praising the 2005 Liverpool side on their comeback victory over the Italian team.
This post from Adrian then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their reactions to the shot-stopper’s tweet.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to Adrian’s post:

Have you forgiven Adrian for his performance against Atletico yet?
Yes
No
The 33-year-old, who is currently valued at £3.6 million according to Transfermarkt, was at fault for one of Atletico Madrid’s goals during Liverpool’s Champions League defeat against the Spanish side back in March, resulting in a match rating of 4.9/10 for the goalkeeper (per WhoScored). Now that Adrian has shared this post on his Twitter account, this opened the door for lots of Liverpool fans to share their criticism for the Spaniard.
Time to leave lad.

What do we think?
It’s sad to see so many Liverpool fans criticising Adrian when all he’s doing is celebrating and recognising one of his club’s greatest achievements. It seems that this group of Liverpool fans still haven’t forgiven Adrian for his performance against Atletico back in March.
