A group of Liverpool supporters have been reacting to an image of Roberto Firmino in training, which was shared via the club’s official Twitter account. The Brazilian, along with his teammates, is preparing for the Premier League’s prospective return next month. On Wednesday, the league’s shareholders voted unanimously for the return of contact training – another step closer to top-flight football’s return.
At the time of the competition’s suspension, Jurgen Klopp’s side were just two victories away from being confirmed as the champions of England for the first time since the 1989/90 season. Firmino has been key to Liverpool this term, with an average performance rating of 7.26/10 in the Premier League so far (as per WhoScored), while he has been the Reds’ sixth-best performer since the start of the campaign, contributing eight goals and seven assists in 29 league appearances.
Here is how some of the Anfield faithful have responded to the photo of the former Hoffenheim player.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that Firmino is an extremely popular figure on Merseyside, with one fan, in particular, referring to the 28-year-old as ‘priceless’.
