Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to discuss former Reds attacker Philippe Coutinho.
This comes after Liverpool-focused Twitter account @empireofthekop shared a post on their page claiming that Bayern Munich have made “the fact they don’t want to keep Coutinho blindingly, blindingly obvious”.
This post also contained an article from their website claiming that the reported news of Bayern offering Manchester City winger Leroy Sane the number 10 shirt for next season – the shirt that which Coutinho currently wears – as being “brutal”.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans, who were quick to share their views on the matter.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:
Bayern have made the fact they dont want to keep Coutinho blindingly, blindingly obvious – it's a little brutal ?? https://t.co/4umhZfeO5j

That’s his own fault for pushing for a move to Barcelona. Thought he was better than he was and better than #lfc

No doubt this post will be inundated with bring him back to Anfield comments…
For me as harsh as it is he made his own bed the way he left…IMO…— T N Roberts (@Elvis01Terry) May 20, 2020
Do you feel sorry for Coutinho?
Yes
No
The Brazilian left the Merseyside club in January 2018 for a mega-money move to Barcelona. However, Coutinho has spent this season on a loan deal at Bayern. Now that this post has been shared on Twitter, this opened the door for lots of Liverpool fans to share their thoughts on Coutinho and his exit from the club.
He was given sound advice by Klopp NOT to leave Liverpool, HOWEVER he chose to ignore it and has paid the price.

What do we think?
It appears that these Liverpool fans don’t have any sympathy for Coutinho and are still upset by the way in which he left the Merseyside club.
