Some fans of Everton have taken to social media to air their desire to see the Toffees sell their Nigerian attacker Alex Iwobi.
On Monday, @thetoffees_com asked supporters if Carlo Ancelotti’s outfit should keep or sell the former Arsenal man, which had some airing their desire for him to be sold.

If a £20-million bid arrived for Alex Iwobi in the next transfer window, would you want it accepted? No, he's good enoughYes, we don't need him |
Iwobi has been with the Toffees since last summer when the club paid a fee which can rise as high as £34 million to secure the attacker’s services from the Gunners (per BBC).
The 24-year-old has then gone on to make 22 appearances in all competitions for the Goodison Park club this season, in which he has scored two, assisted one (per Transfermarkt) and convince some fans that he should be sold.
I’ve got the engine running ready to deliver him to anyone who wants him.
If we was to keep him he needs alot more consistency, but for me he doesnt look like a footballer, looks like he has no clue on positioning or what he is supposed to be doing with or without the ball

He was bought to play as a CAM in the previous 4-2-3-1. Unless he can adapt to playing wide in a 4-4-2, he might as well be written off.

Sell, panic buy who sadly has offered very little.
— John Audsley (@Byrdsman75) May 11, 2020
Sell in a heartbeat

What do we think?
As can be seen in these responses, many supporters are clearly convinced that the Nigerian attacker is not good enough to remain an Everton player.
With a 6.54/10 average rating over 18 Premier League appearances so far this season making the 24-year-old only the 13th-best performer for Everton (per WhoScored), it is fair to say that Iwobi has not set the world alight during his first term in Merseyside.
