Supporters of Everton have been reacting to quotes from the Toffees’ Turkish forward Cenk Tosun which emerged on social media.
In an interview with Futbol Arena, as cited by Sport Witness, the 28-year-old stated that Everton is a “very big club” and that they “have the best fans in England”, which supporters reacted to when shared to social media (via @TheGwladysSt).

Should Everton be looking to sell Cenk Tosun in the next transfer window?Yes, he needs to goNo, he should stay |
This season, a 6.31/10 average rating across five Premier League appearances for the Toffees has left the Turkish international as the club’s fourth-worst performer in the league (per WhoScored).
So, despite the 28-year-old having nothing but positive things to say about the club (via @TheGwladysSt), fans slated Tosun.

What do we think?
As can be seen in these responses from the Goodison Park faithful, it seems that they have made their minds up that the Turkish striker is not good enough for the Toffees.
Having bagged just ten goals and six assists in 51 appearances for the Merseyside club (per Transfermarkt), it is perhaps clear to see why fans do not rate the forward.
