We'll start easy for this Everton kits quiz, which shirt sponsor did the Toffees announce that their partnership with would be being brought to a premature end earlier this season?

Do you remember Nikica Jelavic's time at Everton fondly?

NO, HE WASN'T THAT GOOD

NO, HE WASN'T THAT GOOD

YES, HE WAS DECENT

YES, HE WAS DECENT

What do we think?

After joining the Toffees for a transfer fee of £5.94m in January 2012, it may be fair to say that Jelavic enjoyed a positive start to life at Goodison Park, scoring 11 goals and providing two assists after featuring in 16 games for the club in all competitions in the 2011/12 campaign.

However, this promising start didn’t set the tone for the remainder of the Croatian’s Everton career. Jelavic would go on to score eight goals and provide two assists in 43 games for the Toffees in all competitions during the 2012/13 season, meaning he provided fewer goal contributions for the club in his second season than he did in his first season despite featuring in more games for the Toffees in his second term. Overall, he produced 21 goals for the club.

He subsequently scored just two goals and provided two assists in his 10 appearances for the club during the 2013/14 campaign, before he left to join Hull City in January 2014.

It may be understandable why these Everton fans appear to hold some negative memories of Jelavic and his time at the club, considering that his goal contributions suggest that he never really improved after his first season as an Everton player.
