Supporters of Everton have been airing that they would like to see Romelu Lukaku return to the Toffees after a club Twitter post.
On Wednesday, it was the Belgian striker’s 27th birthday and to mark the occasion the club posted an image and a birthday message to Twitter (via Everton), which had lots of fans calling for his return.

Do you believe that there is any chance that Romelu Lukaku will return to Goodison Park? No, not going to happenYes, anything is possible |
The now-Inter forward spent four seasons at Goodison Park after he initially arrived on loan from Chelsea in 2013 before the move became permanent, he then departed for Manchester United in 2017 (per Transfermarkt).
During his four years with the Toffees, Lukaku bagged a whopping 87 goals and 29 assists in 166 appearances (per Transfermarkt), which have evidently left supporters keen on the Belgian.

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from these Everton supporters, they would love to see the 27-year-old forward return to Goodison Park one day.
However, with 17 goals in 25 Serie A appearances this season making Lukaku the best-performing player for Inter (per WhoScored), it seems unlikely that the Italian club would be willing to let him leave easily.
