Supporters of Everton have been swooning over footage which was posted to social media by the Toffees’ former attacker Tim Cahill.
On Thursday morning, the retired player posted footage to mark 15 years to the day that the Merseyside club finished fourth in the Premier League (per Tim Cahill), which had fans swooning.

Do you believe that the Toffees can finish fourth in the Premier League again sometime in the next three seasons?Yes, anything is possibleNo, that will not happen |
The Australian spent eight years as an Everton player during his career, having arrived from Millwall in 2004 and departed for New York Red Bulls in 2012 (per Transfermarkt).
Over his eight-year stay with the Toffees, Cahill made 276 appearances in which he scored 68 goals and bagged 29 assists (per Transfermarkt), leaving fans keen on their former attacker.
My favourite Everton player, your passion and determination for the Club on the pitch continues even after you stopped playing. A true blue legend.

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from these Everton supporters, they were keen to gush over both the season which Cahill had mentioned and the player himself.
After 97 goal involvements in 276 Everton appearances (per Transfermarkt), though, it is no surprise that the Goodison Park faithful are infatuated with the Australian.
