Supporters of Everton have been left talking by a transfer link between the Toffees and Liverpool’s Adam Lallana which has emerged.
According to the Daily Star, the Toffees are interested in the English midfielder alongside Leicester City, Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Arsenal, which had fans talking (via @EvertonNewsFeed).
?Everton are apparently interested in Adam Lallana.
32 year old Lallana is out of contract this summer with his deal at Liverpool expiring. Leicester City, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Arsenal are also said to be interested.

Just No!

The words ‘out of contract’ for any player means they are either out their depth in a decent team, too expensive or too old to be a frequently called upon to play.
Whichever player it was, would still have an insane agent behind him trying to siphon millions from a new club ?

Absolutely not.
Too old and injury prone.— EFC Mour (@EFCmour1878) May 24, 2020
Would you be pleased if the Toffees signed Adam Lallana from Liverpool?Yes, would be a good signingNo, he's not good enough |
With the 32-year-old Englishman’s contract at Anfield set to expire at the end of June, Carlo Ancelotti would be able to acquire his services on a free transfer if the Reds do not offer him a new deal (per Transfermarkt).
However, despite Lallana being available for nothing, supporters of the Toffees continued airing their disapproval when the rumour was shared to Twitter (via @EvertonNewsFeed).
Ridiculous, no chance we’re looking to sign a 32 year old midfielder when we are already stacked in midfield and we have the oldest squad in the league
— Craig Skinner (@craigskin) May 24, 2020
Definitely not for me. Step back in building young hungry squad. Too old, injury prone, no motivation, waste of salary. Could car share with Bolassi though ??

Do me a favour!! Absolute nonsense
— Rich EFC (@Tuchanpenzance) May 23, 2020
Humiliating if this happens

What do we think?
As can be seen in these responses from Everton fans, they would hate to see the Goodison Park club recruit Lallana from Jurgen Klopp’s side.
A 6.34/10 average rating in the Premier League, which has made the 32-year-old the fifth-worst performer for Liverpool this season (per WhoScored), would suggest that Everton fans are right to be dismissive.
