Fans of Everton have been reacting to the latest on the transfer link between the Toffees and Barcelona’s Jean-Clair Todibo.

According to Todo Fichajes, the French defender’s move to Merseyside is a done deal and he will be making the switch to Everton in ‘the coming months’ (via @TheKendallEnd).

The report went on to state that a €22 million (£19.8m) fee has been agreed between the two clubs for the transfer of the centre-back.

Todo Fichajes also revealed that transfer will see Carlo Ancelotti’s side become the ‘best ally’ of the Catalan club due to the previous sales of Deulofeu, Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina and André Gomes alongside the supposed sale of Todibo.

The Frenchman has been on loan with Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 since the January transfer window with an option for the move to become permanent for €25 million (£22.6m) (per Goal).

However, the deal with Everton was struck up by Barcelona after it became clear that die Königsblauen would not be able to pay the agreed fee for the transfer (per Todo Fichajes).

So, with the latest on the transfer link relayed to supporters on social media (via @TheKendallEnd), fans aired their reactions to the rumour.
