Supporters of Everton were left furious after a report on the Toffees’ on-loan full-back Djibril Sidibe emerged.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Merseyside club are yet to make a decision as to whether the Frenchman’s loan from AS Monaco should be made permanent (via @TheGwladysSt), though supporters were clear in their opinion.

I wouldn’t bother, an alright player, but not good enough. I’d rather pay an extra 20/30 mil and get max Aaron’s from Norwich.

Difficult. Too inconsistent and shaky when defending.

Waste of money! Send him back

Should Everton make Djibril Sidibe's loan with the club a permanent move? No, he's not good enoughYes, he seems good enough |
So far this season, the 27-year-old has been the third-best performer for the Toffees in the Premier League with a 7.01/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
However, despite his strong average rating, supporters were keen for the Toffees to swerve the signing of the full-back when the story was shared to social media (via @TheGwladysSt).
Absolutely no chance

If we buy a player as bad as this then loans are pointless,he’s already proved he’s terrible, how much evidence do we need? ?

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from these Everton fans, they are keen for the club to not pay the £12.7 million to make Sidibe’s stay in Merseyside a permanent one.
However, while the criticism of being ‘shaky when defending’ was directed towards the Frenchman, he has made by far the most tackles (3.7) and interceptions (1.8) per Premier League game on average in Everton’s entire squad (per WhoScored).
