Supporters of Everton have been flocking to a Twitter post from the club’s new kit manufacturer, Hummel, which paid homage to Alan Ball.
On Wednesday, the Danish brand’s Twitter account stated that the ‘timing is perfect’ as it is the 50th anniversary of the Everton legend introducing Hummel to the UK market with his ‘legendary white boots’ (per Hummel), which fans loved.

On Wednesday, the Toffees made the announcement that the Danish brand would be taking over from Umbro in a ‘club-record technical partnership’ (per Everton).
So, after the brand paid homage to one of the club’s legends on their Twitter account (per Hummel), supporters continued to air their admiration.

As can be seen in these responses from Everton supporters, they were delighted with the Twitter post following the announcement of the deal between the brand and the club.
Without a doubt, Hummel paying homage to the man who played for the Toffees between 1966 and 1971 (per Transfermarkt) is certainly a good start for the brand.
