Would you be pleased if the Toffees signed Dwight McNeil in the next transfer window? No, he's not very goodYes, would be a good signing |
The English winger, who is valued at £16.2 million (as per Transfermarkt), has been in solid form for the Clarets so far this season, having bagged a respectable two goals and five assists in 29 Premier League appearances (per Transfermarkt).
In the previous report by the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace and Manchester United were also touted as possible destinations for the 20-year-old, while some Everton fans were hoping that McNeil would not be relocating to Goodison Park.
Not for me.

Not sure he suits what Ancelotti would want. McNeil is an old school left winger who likes to stay out side and cross, don’t seem him playing on the right. Think Ancelotti wants a more direct right sided player who will score goals.

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from these Everton supporters, fans are split down the middle over whether or not the young Englishman would be a good signing.
However, a 7.09/10 average rating in the Premier League, which has made the 20-year-old the second-best performing player for the Clarets (per WhoScored) this season, would suggest that McNeil is certainly a talented youngster.
