Supporters of Everton have been discussing the goalkeeper position after a transfer link with Trabzonspor’s stopper Ugurcan Cakir emerged.
According to Fanatik, as cited by HITC, the Toffees are interested in signing the Turkish ‘keeper. However, his club wants at least €30 million (£26.2m) for the move to happen, which had fans discussing the position (via @ToffeeTVEFC).

Pickford is good enough and will get better as he matures

Do Everton need to purchase a new goalkeeper in the next transfer window?Yes, we need a new oneNo, Pickford is good enough |
So far this season, the club’s current number one, Jordan Pickford, has been the sixth-worst performer for the Toffees in the Premier League with an average rating of 6.35/10 (per WhoScored).
So, following the report which stated that Cakir would be interested in a move to the Premier League despite interest from SL Benfica, Olympique Lyonnais, Sevilla and Atalanta, fans continued having their say.
In time but other positions need strengthening first.
Decent back up needed to put Pickford under pressure— Kev Cooper (@kevcooper4195) May 7, 2020
By all accounts this Turkish lad is very highly recommended. Would put pressure on pickford to up his game but I think ancelotti has made up his mind about him.

Pickford needs solid competition to push his game, we can’t pay £30m for it. Had too many errors & distribution has gone to pot this year, Foster is a good shout for influence and quality. Lossl is actually good enough to challenge if trusted but doesn’t appear to have worked out

New keeper please

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from these Everton supporters, there is no clear consensus on the goalkeeping position with some believing that Pickford is good enough and others not.
In terms of average ratings, the decision is simple, as the 24-year-old Turkish stopper’s 6.89/10 average rating in the Super Lig far outweighs Pickford’s 6.35/10 in the Premier League.
