Palaces best manager since coppell . He would have had us playing in the Europa league for sure .

I thought he was a great fit for us – spoke up well for Wilf, and giving Punch the armband was a masterstroke. 3-0 v Arsenal at home a highlight. Gutted when he left.

Great manager for us. Love his passion. He also got Benteke firing.

What do we think?
As per the BBC, Allardyce replaced Alan Pardew as Eagles boss with the club sitting just “one point above the relegation zone” and went on to lead the club to eight wins in 21 games, subsequently helping them to achieve a 14th placed finish on the Premier League table, before resigning after five months in charge.
Additionally, Football.london explains that Benteke scored “seven goals between the end of January and the end of the season” under Allardyce, enjoying the “most prolific spell” of his Eagles career under the 65-year-old.
With all of this in mind, it may be understandable why these Palace fans have some positive memories of Allardyce’s time at the club and the manager may deserve credit for helping the Eagles to enjoy a positive spell of form during his tenure at the club.
