Fans of Crystal Palace have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which claims that the Eagles, along with West Ham and Bournemouth are all interested in Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne.
According to reports by Goal, there is no sign of the 29-year-old being offered a new long-term deal at Liverpool, meaning that the right-back will be available on a free when his current contract with the club expires on 30 June, with Palace and several other Premier League clubs reportedly interested in the defender.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by CPFC News HQ on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with a somewhat mixed reaction amongst the supporters.

Would take him as long as he doesn’t have ridiculous wage compete with Joel. Not the player he used to be but only 29 and bags of experience.

What do we think?
Clyne is yet to make an appearance for Liverpool so far this season after rupturing his cruciate ligament back in July last year.
However, over his four appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool in the 2018/19 season, the right-back averaged a disappointing average WhoScored match rating of 6.29, before being loaned to Bournemouth for the second half of the season, where he averaged a match rating of 6.43 over 14 Premier League fixtures with the Cherries.
As such, we can understand why some of these Palace fans would rather their club did not make a move for the 29-year-old when his contract ends at Liverpool.
