In reaction to his tweet, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with some sharing their memories of that day, while others have even gone as far to say it was the best day of their life.

Over his two spells at Palace, the first being a loan from Queens Park Rangers before a permanent move, Ramage made 67 appearances for the club, scoring four goals and providing two assists before his eventual departure to Kerala Blasters in 2015.

However, it would seem as if the 36-year-old made a great impression on the Palace fans, something that was likely helped by his participation in the side’s play-off victory in 2013.

Since their promotion to the Premier League seven years ago, Palace have established themselves as a top-flight team, finishing no lower than 15th, with a highest-placed finish of 10th, with the side currently occupying 11th place in the league table this term.
