Fans of Crystal Palace have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of the club’s interest in Burnley manager, Sean Dyche.
According to reports in the Mirror, Palace have identified Dyche as their ideal long-term successor for Roy Hodgson.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by CPFC News HQ on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that they would love to see Dyche take over the position as manager when Hodgson eventually moves on, while others, in contrast, have claimed that they believe bringing the 48-year-old to the club would be like reappointing Sam Allardyce.
Would you like to see Sean Dyche as Palace manager?
Yes
No
? Crystal Palace see Sean Dyche as the ideal long term successor to Roy Hodgson.
They want Hodgson to stay as long as possible, but see Dyche as the ready made replacement due to the job he has done at Turf Moor.

Brilliant manager, can’t see it happening though.

I think he’s the perfect fit but after being rejected twice previously he’d probably have serious doubts about the club’s belief in him.

What do we think?
While not all Palace fans would like to see Dyche take over at Selhurst Park, it is hard to argue that the manager has done a bad job at current club, Burnley.
Since taking over the Clarets in 2012, Dyche has taken the club to the Premier League twice, with his highest finish in the Premier League being seventh in the 2017/18 season.
As such, it would appear that, although some Palace fans are not overly appreciative of Dyche’s style of play, his methods are certainly effective.
