Crystal Palace have shared images of some of their players including Martin Kelly, Gary Cahill and James McArthur back on the training pitch via their official Twitter account. The Eagles, along with the rest of the Premier League’s clubs, voted unanimously to return to training in small groups with the authorities hopeful of a June return for the English top-flight.
Palace’s last outing was the 1-0 victory over Watford at Selhurst Park back on March 7th when Jordan Ayew’s goal proved the difference. At the time of the competition’s suspension, Roy Hodgson’s side were in 11th place, a comfortable 12 points clear of the drop zone.
Here is how some of the club’s supporters have responded to the post on Twitter.
